How To: Guanciale Carbonara

Guanciale is an Italian cured meat product prepared from pork jowl. Its name is derived from guancia, the Italian word for ‘cheek’. This product is made using Kurobuta Pork – often remarked as being the Wagyu of the pork world.

Rubbed with salt and spices, the Cheek is slow aged up to 3 months resulting in concentrated flavour within the meat and richness in the fat. This product is perfect for your next Carbonara or Amatriciana.
